Part of being a CQC Outstanding company is looking after our staff. If you are supported, trained and respected, you will be able to give better care. It’s also about our standards; we expect the highest standards of care and work with you to achieve those. We listen to problems and act on them to ensure any problem a client is experiencing is managed.
We expect our carers to focus on the clients. However, once you have left a client and gone to the next, it’s just not possible to deal with ongoing issues. We have a supportive office and on-call team that will pick up and manage these ongoing issues to allow you to focus wholly on the client you are with.
There is never an expectation to work outside your agreed availability. We will always ask if you would like, and respect your answer, any extra work becomes available.
Our promises to you, and our expectations of you are documented in our Care Charter.
